Ben Nevis

In September 2013 I had the opportunity to climb the amazing Ben Nevis to help raise cash for cancer research UK.  A truely magnificent experience as usual I had to take along my trusted D7000 camera to capture and share the views.  Being both fit and well I had estimated a timescale of around 3.5hrs each way.....HOW WRONG WAS I :)

The hills were relentless, the weather in our favour remained dry but seriously cold, check out my gallery page for the pictures.  Now roll on 2014!!

Early January 2014 I am hoping to be a new proud owner of a gopro 3+ silver/black edition, and am looking to be using it for the dslr/photography tutorials awell as some underwater shots for more creativness.  I also aim to be using it for swimming, fishing trips, motocross & mountain biking for when my D7000 is to expensive & bulky to be carrying around so watch this space.  Best wishes :)

Welcome

Mike Turnbull Photography.  Here I strive to improve my work with every shot I take.  I have numerous years photography experience and prefer the candid approach when shooting instead of traditional posses.  I enjoy putting my own twist and creativeness on each shoot I do and like to stand out from the rest of the competition.

I enjoy shooting weddings, children and newborn portraits, and of course our beautiful landscapes and always have my camera to hand :)

I enjoy sharing the knowledge of my photography journey so far so you may well see a few dslr/photography tutorials as I go.  Best wishes :)
